Hey MineYourMind Community, After much consideration, we have made the difficult decision to shut down the MineYourMind network by the end of this month. This decision wasn’t made lightly. Over 12 years, we’ve built an incredible community full of creativity, collaboration, and unforgettable moments. However, between declining activity, rising (uncovered) costs, personal commitments, and the requirment to keep up with Minecraft’s frequent updates, it’s become clear that we can no longer give MineYourMind the attention it deserves. We want to sincerely thank every player, staff member, and supporter who helped shape this experience. You made this place special, and we are truly grateful for all the memories. A very special thank you goes to @Aidoneus, whose tireless dedication, support, and passion kept the network alive far longer than it otherwise could have. We are incredibly grateful for everything he has done behind the scenes and on the front lines. The servers will remain online until June 30, 2025, so please take this time to say goodbye, connect with friends, and preserve anything you’d like to keep. The website, forum and discord will stay online for an indefinite period of time. Purchases made within the last 14 days are eligible for a refund, please reach out to me to request it. If you have any questions or want to stay in touch, please join our Discord. Thank you again for everything. With gratitude, SirWill
Can you clarify what our options are to "preserve anything we'd like to keep." I get that I can start offloading my LUA code to pastebin; but to what extent can I get a copy of my base from ATM10 Node 2 so I can try to finish the pack without starting over?
try checking this out: https://mineyourmind.net/wiki/knowledge/world-downloader/ it dont work on all servers or all minecraft versions, but if it apply to the pack you are playing, you should be able to download your base.
Best of luck to everyone involved. MyM has been part of my early modded MC adventure, and even though I don't think about it anymore, I will not forget it.
that's such a shame, ever since i first joined, i really liked this community. thank you for all the work and passion you invested over the past years, and i wish you all the best for the future
The community was great here! Thank you for the wonderful years of providing us with servers for a lot of modpacks. I started my modded MC journey here in this community and will always be grateful for all the hard work staff has put in here. Sad will I be now that I cant come back to modded MC and play AG2 again with this great community. Thank you all!
Aww, this is sad, but understandable. Is it still possible to use the launcher to download a few packs and use it for single player?(mostly for some of the 1.12 modpacks, i dont expect it to really work for newer versions.) Also, for packs that have Quest books(like divine journey) is there any way to import quest book data?
Have not played on this server since I was a Admin here with some other great staff members before it all went down hill for the better half of us because of lies, betrayal, and stabbing in the back. @Aidoneus was always a great person through and through but not much to be said of others. Fairwell MyM
Sad times. I wish everyone the best and will hopefully see some of you again soon. A massive thankyou to @SirWill for everything, it's been great fun to play and work on your superb server. I'm on Discord, see you all there, or you message me on [email protected] Sparedpumpkins
I feel the same way here. Though I personally would like to add SparedPumpkin, MrMineSheeps, and hanover being pretty amazing to. Along with bookerthegeek. I was only helper level but had some really bad experience in staff that led to me not playing on mym anymore. This shutdown is no surprise to me honestly after some private experiences that nearly required police intervention
It's been a good run boys, thank you for all the memories back in 2014-2019. I still remember the Christmas lobby, the years of staffing. Huge shoutout to SirWill and Slind for starting something that will live in my memories for years to come.
