For the third time, While trying to play Crash land, my map gets scrapped Hqm keeps breaking. Sync is worthless. [Server lags, i get killed, don't go into clone, java fault crashes me out, log back in (through hub) and nope dead.] I've dealt with it the first time, bit my tongue the second. Come on, 3 times. I follow every damn one of the 'guidelines' to prevent this. No. This is jacked up.
I feel the same way drmacguyver does. we have been having many problems with sync. just as soon as we get setup we lost it because sync doesnt fricking work at all. We just spent a whole week rebuilding to the point we were at a week ago, and also about a week before that, and so on. it seems that whenever we get set up it goes off and decides to be a piece of S***. so please try something to fix this. -trizmo
HQM is bugged in 1.6.4, no point blaming MyM, when it's not their fault. Sync has been buggy from the start, no point blaming MyM also, when it's not their fault. You're playing a Modded Minecraft server, expect bugs, and expect situations like this. Although, yes, I play Agrarian skies, I know exactly how annoying HQM can get, and I've experienced the Sync bugs when I played Crashlanding. MyM are more than capable of fixes the problems with HQM, but the mod creator doesn't have public coding for the mod (correct me if I'm wrong) They're also very stubborn, and also don't want anyone changing their codes, reason they're 'private'
i can understand that HQM is buggy and has a few issues, its not as catastrophic as Sync. There are a few ways of fixing the sync issues with the server, one would be through bungeecord/spigot and having when you joined the lobby have it actually sync to the CL server properly, or also a login timer that when you login you have invincibility for 10 seconds until the area around you loads up properly, or even a third option of entities (mobs) clearing off of un-loaded land. -Trizmo (now we need an admin to get on to save our stuff before drmacguyver logs in and it gets deleted)
All i'm asking here is for one simple thing. "Give the player a chance to login. I'm less than 150 blocks from my shell. Render/load distance is 10+ chunks. I just want to play the game. Its not solely a sync issue. since they allow chunk loaders, i'm assuming they reduced loaded chunk area emcompassing the player. If not. Then more than half of any island should remain loaded. That and sync mod is designed to keep meta data loaded as long as the player is online. Whether is does or not is most likely the actual issue.
Not sure what do you mean with that. I will try to implement this. We had to disable the chunk loading of the shells as they load the chunk 24/7 and you would play on ~3 TPS if we would reenable the chunk load of them. As a player is the most time in the base the sync stations are loaded from him. When we had chunk loading enabled there were already bugs that a player got not moved to the sync station, so it is not only the chunk loading.
in the rules and regulations to apparently make sync work you said to login through the lobby, but thats not going to change anything if it doesn's sync to anything anyways. -trizmo

Why are you acting like that exactly? Not respawning so the island doesn't reset, is an exploit imo. How close are you to the clone exactly? I mean, if you were in the range of it, that's fine.. But, I'm no longer staff, so my opinion isn't valid ^^
