Currently the Buildcraft thats in 1.0.1 has a lot of items that corrupt chunks and crash server. both have been reported and the reply was its the BC vesion, But in 1.0.2 it should be fixed. I go here daily to see whats new. We will not disable them until we encourage these bugs and are not able to fix them. We have some resources that allow us to fix light to medium server side bugs.
