Can we have these enabled? From what I found, though I am sure you know better than I, they are disabled in the config by default and have to be enabled. Can this be done?

Are they only disabled from NEI or completely?
I forget what pack it was but they had a mod that removed all micro parts except one of each type, to clean up NEI. But all were still craftable

I just looked in the client side configs and they are enabled , have you tried crafting them ? As Crhymez just said they don't show up in nei from what I have heard but are still craftable

Also you need to remember AE2 is nothing like AE1, All AE2 blocks are multi parts and work with Forge micro/multi parts

I did try with a few blocks (stone, bricks (45)) and they would not craft. I was following the process I saw in the ae-mod wiki as well as a couple of YouTube vids. target block with 4 Cable Anchors around it.

Yeah there seems to be a problem with the facades and they will work with some blocks but won't work with others like stone , stone bricks , planks and some others. This could be a simple problem to fix I will ask @Administrator if they could check the configs to see if it's something simple like that.

You can use Forge Micro parts,
    Covers
    Strips
    Hollow covers

You can hide all AE2 wires with it, i will come on DW20 to show you.

    Not a problem,
They changed AE a lot in 1.7.10
Facades "could" work but forge way is better
