Forestry backpacks can hold a wide variety of things, but there are some items that don't seem to go into any, such as potions. Would it be possible to get the Adventurer's Backpack configured to hold a certain set of these items? If anybody has ideas for other item types than potions please let me know.
My "New" favorite "backpack" is the portable drive from AE2. it stores items like a Storage Drive, meaning items that normally dont stack... will stack. Its any miner/ Mage dream storage pack. As to your request not sure why this is needed. There are many other ways to carry/store items in your inventory.
I'm aware of all the ways to store items, but the greater the variety the better, in my opinion. Having a dedicated pouch for a specific item type would be great.
I don't think this is even possible. At least not without modifying the clients configs, too. Would you mind checking it out and if you find a way update here?
Well, I'm trying to get around to testing it, but I'll have to launch via the FTB launcher, which is a lot slower. I'll update when I figure out how well it works.[DOUBLEPOST=1419375070,1419370857][/DOUBLEPOST]Okay, Slind, I did a quick test (As quick as I could, at least), and it turns out that it does not need to be on the client's config to work, at least as far as Forestry backpacks are concerned. You just need to enter the ...<server>/config/forestry/backpacks.cfg and add in the item IDs for whatever items you want to add to it. In my case, I tested it with the Potion Flasks, which all share the ID of 17296.
alright, great. on which server are you playing so we can start off with testing it on one server in case something breaks.
