for some reason the last few days MyM has been completely unplayable for me, the lag has been so bad the delay is about 5 minutes, nothing works, chat, opening anything etc, half the time I log in falling into space, afaik noone else on the server is having this issue as per teamspeak, ping test shows a constant 180ms response with little to no jitter and trace route is fine as well which is pretty good considering the distance, (I even did a player reset which didnt help) I thought it may be my internet which is 25+ down, 5+ up however no other FTB Monster servers or for that matter unmodded MC servers are lagging for me also I am direct connect to my router, its locked, and trying a direct connect to my modem didnt help either, my PC is an i5 4670k, 8gb 1866, R9 290X, and my fps during the lag is around 130+ it is for some reason just this server and I am at a loss searching google for days with no help. Also I uninstalled FTB, the launcher, everything and reinstalled.
Hey, please get winmtr (WinMTR – Appnor's Free Network Diagnostic Tool and connect to the server and start winmtr in background. Enter the servers host into the winmtrs host field and press start. Please let it run for about 5-10 minutes and copy the result to pastebin.com. If you don´t want to post it public, send me a private message.

that looks ok so far, not good but ok and does not explain such agressive lag. Did you experience the lag ingame while winmtr was running? Did you try to play with an empty inventory (not tools no armour) and maybe in the farming world ?[DOUBLEPOST=1391625751,1391625690][/DOUBLEPOST]The only thing what I can think of atm is that there is some mod sending endles of packets between the server and client.
Update, I tested in the lobby and I do not appear to be recieving any lag whatsoever, the server for the lobby is the same as the monster server no? Yep, Mtr was running, and My inventory was completely empty, including armour, also If I could get to the farmworld I could test it TS and every other program works fine, including other monster servers. just for some reason the connection to MyM
well if the lobby is no problem, than I don´t know what is wrong. As all connections go through the proxy and if something behind the proxy wouldn´t work all players would experience it.[DOUBLEPOST=1391627731,1391627521][/DOUBLEPOST]I wiped your player.dat. Please tell me if that changes anything. (I have a backup of the old one.)
Agreed, I am at a loss, I installed horizons as well and connected to the horizons MyM server and am also experiencing the issue there, I connected to a few other monster servers and all was well. :/
if it is the same on horizons and you are the only one experiencing it, let us wait a day. But if you like you can also talk to galadrien he is on ts and has more knowlege about it than me.
no difference on player.dat wipe, tried that yesterday as well maybe its time to get the 50meg connection, although 25 up, 5 down was good enough before. I will try to connect to some more europe servers to try to rule out my connection.
@Sydus your connection speed isn´t a problem I´m sure there are many people with a much worse connection. A thing that I´m wondering about is that your connections isn´t going via the level3 backbones. As most of the players from the us. I´m a bit busy atm, feel free to join galadrien on the monster channel and he can tell you more. Maybe he even knows a solution or at least what is wrong.
@Slind14 @Sydus I spoke with Sydus earlier and had him try reinstalling Java at first but from what I can see from his WinMTR at this line his connection starts having problems: gw-init7.torontointernetxchange.net - 0 | 180 | 180 | 174 | 183 | 198 | 179 | It shows he is getting 174+ ms ping while still within his country of Canada. I'm not sure how far he is from Toronto but there's no way his ping should be that high to a connection that close. The connection stays bad from that point forward. I suggested to him earlier that he should contact the provider and complain, escalate if necessary and get them to work on the issue. Sorry I can't be of more help! -Galadrien
