    please double check. Thaumic tinkerer doesn't care what thaumcraft responds so the only thing that might happen is the server crashing.

    Well, the issue is that the server and client code needs to be identical at this point.

    alright, found an alternative way, which shouldn't cause issues with an unpatched client version. working on it now.
