When I first typed /banneditems, I found that chicken chunks chunk loaders were not allowed. I then saw them on someone's land that I found when exploring, prominently placed in an automated tree farm. Upon asking the moderator Moorian if they were okay, he said yes. Is this a good idea? The chunk loader I found was chunk loading item pipes completely full of charcoal that was bouncing around long paths and not exiting the pipes, with no player around. In my experience a single incident like that brought a server to its knees in an Ultimate server I owned. Are people whom are chunk loading occasionally audited? I am just concerned that openly allowing chunk loading without auditing what is happening in those chunks is a factor in why the game has gotten way more laggy and difficult to play in the last few weeks. It is hard to even mine now, and the /tps command is very misleading compared to the user experience where nothing we do matters for 5-10 seconds at a time.
Well resurrection only has Chicken chunks as a way to load so the banned item list need a quick fix but ya thats the only why to chunk load
The next time you find someting like that you can report it to a mod or write a ticket. Then we can help the player to improve his setup. *hopes that it was not my treefarm*
As far as i know ender-thermic pump and quarrys are chunkloading too. Edit: I think only the chicken chunk loaders are allowed to load the chunks you want on the overworld.
