    Hi,

    I've been wondering if you could enable solar panels for all voltages in server cfg. It would help server a bit in terms of power generation while players still have to figure out how to get all the silicon needed (trollface).

    To do that, just go to gregtech config directory, open OverpoweredStuff.cfg and change lines (false to true):
    Code:
    gregtechrecipes {
    	B:SolarPanel8V_false=true
    	B:SolarPanelEV_false=true
    	B:SolarPanelHV_false=true
    	B:SolarPanelIV_false=true
    	B:SolarPanelLV_false=true
    	B:SolarPanelLuV_false=true
    	B:SolarPanelMV_false=true
    	B:SolarPanelUV_false=true
    	B:SolarPanelZPM_false=true
    }
    config file might be little missleading but those panels are not op for sure.

    dude, solars suck *beings making army of imperfect ritual stones making it night all the time*
    but seriously, they suck, just use a charcoal farm and you're good for power

    I'll look into if these are OP or not in the next couple days, and post a recommendation.

    sure, thanks.
    @chugga_fan gt solars works at night providing 8th of energy, so it always something. yet solars are better for servers than bigass tree farms :)

    may i point out that those tree farms are quite less expensive and produce more power per tick if done properly than an army of semifluids?

    may i point a thing, that we are playing on gregtech-based server, where prehistoric charcoal farms are not techy and they don't look fancy at all? :) so much offtop lol

    i know that, my team has spread there for awhile now, we were like the first to get to that level, and prehistoric coal farms still work :p

    With slight modification to the recipe to make them slightly more expensive I would not see a problem. @Administrator for a final decision?

    Hrmm do the GT solars integrate with advanced solar panels if the config is enabled? Because all I see in NEI is "Needs a basic IC2 solar panel for everything"...which is impossible to get since there is straight up no recipe for 'em.

    Having the GT solars would be amazing, but I'd also like to enable, hack, patch, or duct tape in SOME way to aquire the IC2 basic solar panel. For instance, I've just made a quantumsuit helmet, but can't make it solar because...I don't have the money to buy the IC2 Kit from /shop. :< I know greg is probably working on this, but...until he's done, could we get some IC2 solars puh-leeeeese? :D[DOUBLEPOST=1425445660,1422939439][/DOUBLEPOST]Well with greg moving on to GT6, it looks like we'll never get the GT solars integrated with the IC2 ones. Since greg disabled the IC2 recipe for the basic solar, can we at least get a recipe put in to make them available again? This would open up all the solar options for all the people who haven't bought the IC2 kit from the shop...:D
