So I have a sheep pen in a single chunk with a spot loader in the chunk and I bred some of my sheep. I then proceeded to go have dinner and come back 30-45 minutes later and my sheep still have not grown up or regrown their wool. I also noticed this happening in the chunk that I process my ores in. I'd set the whole think up in one chunk and set my ender io machines up to auto process some of my ores, log off for the night, and come back to see that processing stopped at some point. In every case the spot loaders are active, with the little ball think floating in the air. Also, I never had this problem when using an actual chunk loader, only when I started using the spot loaders. Thanks in advance for the help, 357blackhawk
The spotloaders are personal loaders. This means that they will only load when you are online, not continuously 24/7. The strain that would cause on a server, if they were "real" loaders, would mean that they would not be allowed for any use.
Do ender quarries work the same way, or will I lose a bunch of stuff if I leave it running while my base is spot loaded and I am offline?
I am not sure about the ender quarry, howerever, 2 gold chests is good enough to hold everything in a 64x64 quarry, if you filter out stone, dirt, gravel and the Chisel 2 stones.
