Crash Landing - Reset As most of your already know from the broadcast, there will be a reset on the 20th February 2015. This post is mainly to clarify how it is going to happen. What happens? All current Crash Landing servers are going to be shut down and the new created one put online. New direct IP will be: crash.mineyourmind.net We will add an option which allows you to choose between hardcore (hardcore = island reset on death) and normal mode. New city world will be generated. Why? we need space for the new generation of modpacks (mc 1.7.10) (mainly cpu power) 3 servers are not needed for the current amount of players worlds are huge What is being reset? worlds MyMs inventories quests What persists? global premium ranks kits bought via buycraft/credits over the last 2 weeks (request below) playtime + playtime ranks survival knowledge Base download You can request a download until the 20th february below. Make sure to include the server name and player names. No longer possible.

Even though I can request a island save, but a fresh start doesn't sound bad. It will be sad to see my island, go rip in pieces may the awe be recreated anew. Anyway, quick questions/comments: New City Generation, if you are moving towards 1.13 city generation, please be aware that you will have to look into the farmhouses vs. graveyard spawn rates. The base 1.13 should be 50-50 however this is not the case and I have done a lot of testing to have good statistics. This being said, graveyards, have loot in the walls and other locations, don't know how you guys will plan that out. I wouldn't mind the 1.13 city generation, it just is way harder in my opinion but to get good loot will require the ability to break blocks. Especially to get into buildings. I assume selecting Hardcore vs. Normal will be command based, can this be changed on the fly?
The island download is just the base save files that you can download for single player. Everything related to your base will be wiped during the server wipe. Just to clarify.
hey im just wondering if those who built a big island will get some compensation for the time spent on the server since are bases dont transfer?
So the Crash Landing pack is just getting a reset basically. It's not getting replaced with the improved modpack just yet. Alrighty.
CL is dead in the terms of development by the main creator Iskandar and Shane. It is possible that Iskandar may try to do a Crash Landing 2 in the future but that will not be for a while.
I would like my island to be backed up. Coordinates are: x = -20700 y = 61 z = -23092 I'm on CL3 and I've have set a warp there if needed
1. new world 2. open the worlds save dir and paste in the region file. 3. load the world and teleport to your island location (escape - open to lan - allow cheats, so you can use the ./tp command)
