Hello, Since I've been playing on MyM Modsauce I wasn't able to activate the portal. I just want to go to the Nether or to the mining World. I did the classic nether portal 2x3, placed the sign under and a lever. It pops up a window asking me where do I want to go. I saw that the Nether and the Mining World prices are FREE. After i click one of those 2, it tells me, in the chat, ,,ERROR, portal blocked,, . The portal is in my claimed area. Sorry for any bad english. I'll come over investigate. There have been similar incidents, but a quick re-placement of the portal 1-3 blocks away has solved those issues. There has also been issues with Thaumcraft Kami armour spawning in a Glint of light or whatever they are called, and blocked the portal. Anything that can add a tile entity/block that replaces air can block the portal. Make sure that nothing is near the portal that spawns any of these, for ex. TC Arcane lamps, or that you are wearing anything that has a similar effect.[DOUBLEPOST=1423150252,1423149183][/DOUBLEPOST]Moved portal back 2 blocks, and switched out lever for button. Work's now, without any further issues.
I managed to get all the old skool portals up and running before this change, good to see a post warning about things that drop ghost blocks in the area of your portal can cause issues.
The same porblem i create the nether portal, i place my sign with in the first line "Portal", its say you have create a portal power the sign, i power it i choose the nether and its say me error, Portal blocked. i try to move the poortal 5 time nothing change (i'm in ftb infinity server no:3)
Yes it does ! I had the same error 1 day ago and I changed the wooden one with the stone one! Try it. It'll work. eAndi did the same thing for me .
it works now, the problem was that I had put the sign on the lower block of the portal and not underneath (I understood early that have to put them below the portal column
I did not only switch out a button. And SirWill is the creator of this plugin. I do believe he knows what he's talking about
