Ill try to explain. The safari zone is an area with different places (biomes in mc) where you can catch different pokemon that can be hard to find in the normal world. When you enter the safari zones in the game you usually get 20 safari balls to try catching the pokemon you want. Lets say you want spheal, but it can only be found in ice plains biomes. These are very rare, however the safari zone has this biome. You pay to enter catch spheal and happy days.
Its like a lottery where you could get nothing or get a legendary and is made by the comminity so what they wondertrade goes in the prize pool for others
Charles when you enter you will pay and automatically get 20 to 15 safary balls and i think like 15 or soo pokemons appears there

yea some mod play in specific packs but some of us goes from here to there and btw charles i came up with another idea

well as some people know there are secret areas around the game so i was thinking of as build a floating secret island that to start its hard to find and to access it you will need a special item but what it is soo special about the island you will find shiny pokemons more than normal and secret items around the island i would call the place Sacred Sky there is more to it but thats the main idea
I think that sounds like a good idea, It will take some thought on how to exactly get it to work as far as only allowing safari balls or something similar I don't have any reservations to doing it, I will have to think on it for a while though. Resctricting an area to only 1 type of pokeball will be hard to do... and I am not sure we have safari balls at all in the mod.
Well first i would like it to have its own dimension because we don't want players to tp others there it would ruin the point of it and let say there is too ways to get it a crafting recipe or a object drop by only flying type pokemons
Maybe we take an item and only after you have beaten the final gym leaders can you get to this island
Welp i just got the idea we have those Gems in the game why not make it so it require 5 gems this are the following it could require Fire , Water , Grass , Flying and finally Dragon we don't want this to be easy to get there do we xD
you can do that with signs. at the gym you add one "Unlock" -> rightlick -> give permissions gym.<name> at the spawn the teleport sign/pressure-plate requires this permission. there could also be a MyM cost on both or one of the signs
