    I'm in the process of making the endgame thaumcraft armour, and one of the parts needs a lamp of growth, but to make this I need to place an arcane lamp on the infusion altar, but I can't because the item is banned. Just wondering if a co-admin is available at some stage to place it for me / swap the mats for a lamp of growth or if there was a different way to get it.

    Try using a hopper to get the item on the pedestal.
