ive decided to try pixelmon again but ive tried both MyM launcer and the the other way but both times im trying to log in it says i got lots of extra mods that doesnt relate to pixelmon. it somehow sees my infinity folder since thats the only one ive installed, ive checked and moved my folder and i know thier are no extra mods i my pixelmon map... so how can i fix this?
If your using the MyM launcher (which I hope you are) do a hard force update for the pixelmon pack and see if that fixes the problem.
I had the same issue. For some reason the DNS address of Pixelmon.mineyourmind.net is NOT passing the port along and is using the default port of 25565. Connecting to 148.251.160.125:25564 will fix your issue. I had the EXACT same thing happen, connecting to the Infinity Node-4 server which is at the same IP but using the default port. Again; connecting to 148.251.160.125:25564 will fix your issue.
