Not sure if this is the proper place to request this, but I have noticed a significant TPS drop when GrizzlyKiller29 logs into the game. I have discussed this with him, and we did a test to see if his island (I believe he shares with Conday_ as well) was the culprit. When he ported over to my island the TPS popped back up to 20 almost instantly, from around 9. I had a look around his place but couldn't see anything that stuck out as terrible, but it has been a while since I was a mod (back in Tekkit) and things are much different now. Their island is quite massive, but I'm not sure if that is the true culprit or not. If there is anything you folks could do to locate the cause, I would certainly appreciate it. Grizz I'm sure would be willing to change any setups that are causing it, he seems like a good guy.
On it![DOUBLEPOST=1428049590,1428046264][/DOUBLEPOST]Well, I went and checked it out. 20 TPS before i went to players island and 20tps while i was there (granted there were only a like 5 players on, at the time). Player came online while i was looking around, and we talked a bit. This guys base is HUUGE. It's not "quite massive", its most definitely, astoundingly massive. 2x2 chunks, and just about from void all the way up to build limit. If it was on the infinity mod pack, it would bring the server to its knees and make it cry for mercy during peak hours - its that big. Mature Base Syndrome - He's been there forever, and has forever amounts of everything. I made a few suggestions (proper long term storage of bulk items, tone down spawning, etc) but short of nuking his entire base and every base as big as his, i don't see a solution.
