Do you choose to install texture packs? Try turning them off.

Personally, I avoid using full screen. It always makes me slower, at least when it comes to minecraft. Some people may have the opposite experience though.

It makes it faster for me, but I still hate using it.

Well this is my issue with Regrowth. When I use windowed mode (which I always use), it shows like 50 fps but when I rotate, screen like stutters alot. When I use full screen, problem's gone.

It only occurs for me in regrowth, all other modpacks runs smooth like a stone on the beach.

This is why I thought it might help.

Hmm. Maybe I should see if fullscreen works for Agrarian 2. It's rare, but on occasion upon rotating I suddenly lag for half a second, and overturn or underturn, making fighting mobs a hassle.

I have no texture pack on.
Ill have to try that.[DOUBLEPOST=1429303305][/DOUBLEPOST]Update: I tried doing fullscreen. Turned on v sync. Still have 2 fps.

Have you tried installing a client side mod -
    Fastcraft or Optifine?

Would highly suggest it if you're using a laptop.

V-Sync cuts my fps so much usually without it i get 60ish fps and with it on I get 10...Also like Ben said try fastcraft and/or optifine, another one is fps+ that could help you. If you only have 4 gigs of ram I don't suggest having all 4 gigs dedicated towards Minecraft as that could really slow your computer down

Downloaded optifine, standing still with fullscreen I get up to 6 fps and fullscreen off while standing still I get up to 5 fps.

I just know that v-sync is terrible in League of Legends so I turn it off for Minecraft too xD

I would love to see how does V-Sync improve fps? V-Sync is only there to reduce screen tearing on higher resolutions. Basically it waits for the whole frame to be rendered to display. If the Graphic card cant deliver it before the screen refresh rate you will get a noticeably fps drop. But that's not the point of this thread.

Lexy could you post your PC/Laptop configuration if you know it?

I have no idea what my Laptop's configuration is. All I know how to do is look at how much memory I have and find my laptop on like a website that says what my laptop includes. Is my configuration found somewhere on my laptop?

You can find info this way. For CPU and RAM, do the following:

Open My computer, rightclick on the background of the windows then select properties. There should be Info about Processor, Ram and Operating system.

    For the graphics card:

In the same Window where you found the previous information. In the top left corner there is Device Manager. Open it and search for display adapters. And thats the name of the graphics card. You maybe have 2 post them both please :D

P.S. That only works if you have Windows 7, 8 or 8.1
Hope you don't find this confusing.

I found where it says my RAM, by going to Settings>Pc Info. I don't know if that's what you were looking for. But here's a screenshot of my Pc Info.

[DOUBLEPOST=1429336268,1429310560][/DOUBLEPOST]So, I just got done resetting my moms laptop, downloading Java, and downloading optifine. Her laptop is a little older than mine(Windows 7, 8, or 8.1). It has 4GB and is a little older than my laptop. When I play Regrowth on hers and all the chunks load, I get up to 20-30 fps. I wonder what makes hers any better than mine.[DOUBLEPOST=1429336274]
