Guys fetch us some news, why did it happen, will it be happening once in a while like on agrarians?

The quest book got reset due to players not being able to open them, resetting the data was the only possible fix I'm afraid. But it means you get extra rewards now by doing it all again

 

No I rly don't mind man. Was just afraid it will be a story like on AG, resets every so often (back then, I had chests prepared, with items needed in quests).

Yup benny nailed it. We rolled back the quest data 3 times, and all 3 were affected by whatever was corrupting the data files. This is mostly an issue with how HQM stores its data - Binary format, 1 huge file containing all the player data - one corrupted/damaged entry and it throws off everything downstream from the fault. It's a little more robust, it seems, in the 1.7.10 packs, but its still an issue since we can't just reset "the broken players quest data" - its an all or nothing kinda thing.

 

Also resets will be happening with updates as when quests are added they require a reset.
