And I cannot understand why ppl still pays for this.. There are the same episodes of the same shows there was a year ago, and there is 15 min of total content and 30min of total commercial in each show:/ then there are 15min commercial between the shows.. I am so happy I stopped paying for satellite tv years ago and went with the entertainment on the Internet.
First of you cant find everything free on the internet you have to pay for some things. Secondly not all people know how to use the internet properly. And last but not least, Television is like a habit its hard to stop. From my experience I've watched to many things on the internet so I reached the point where I don't know what to do on the internet.
TV is the cheapest route to go if you want premium things like hbo access or OnDemand programs, especially if you have kids, as companies (DISNEY >_<) Like to charge you per show to watch it OnDemand on phones or the net.
I usually don't watch TV as there is a LOT of junk advertisements. So I found the easiest solution just to watch Netflix
I guess it depends on how you use it. I would never think "Oh I have nothing to do let's switch on the TV" - that way you'll quite definetely get only bad shows. I usually scan the program for stuff I want to watch (Good films i don't have on DVD, certain shows where I know when I get new episodes) and this way, I usually get out something useful.
How many of you use a computer to watch your favorite tv show, movie, boxing fight, MMA fights, etc? Well build a Home Theatre PC (HTPC) and then hook it up to your television. in my opinion the best software for a HTPC is Kodi. It was formally called XBMC. Kodi will let you watch movies, tv shows, pictures that are in your library. You can also install plugins that allow you to watch from streaming sites and many other things. Your HTPC will have a remote control as well so you don't need a mouse and keyboard to navigate through the GUI. YouTube it! Kodi is awesome. If anyone has questions about it, hit me with. PS: I do not endorse, promote, condone piracy!
