some things need to be dropped in order for advancement and clear lag is going to make it impossible. there are quartz crystals that can only be grown in water, that take forever to grow - yet clear lag wipes them out. I don't think clearlag should be ran on a server like this or atleast the time between clears should be upped drastically, not done every 5 mins x..x
I agree. i haven't gotten that far so i can do AE2 but ClearLag still ruins my playtime. so i would vote YES to get either Rid of ClearLag or Up the Time to maybe each 20-30 minutes because each 5 minutes is to Close
Theres AE Stuff mod in. Make Crystal Growth Chamber and profit. No despawning and its superfast. You wont ever look back.
Sorry guys - This was my fault. Clearlag wiped out my nice config from last night, -that didn't destroy your stuffs- and replaced it with the default config, which happily demolishes everything. Working on tracking down WHY it did this, which is slightly infuriating, as the yaml check is fine (the config is structurally OK), the side by side is just about exactly the same (barring some things turned off), and everything appears to be kosher. T_T
Sorry... A good portion of those mobs was probably my island. We've got a "City" island going on, and while the mob house I built to slay them is public for residents, at least one of the other people wanted an automated one. As a result, we've got one automated grinder (Tower->Spikes) and one house for manual killing (TiCo levels), and due to their distance from one another, the mob spawn limit isn't taken into account, leaving perhaps 20-50 mobs at a time. I should probably get around to putting the magnum torch back down xD
