    Hi!

Sorry in advance for not posting a ticket, I've been unable to access the game so wasn't able to do /ticket and get the right link!

My GPU died and I've put in an old AMD 4800 series card. Since then the game has not been able to initialise. Here is my log: There are no crash reports created and it seems I'm just stuck in a constant 'initialising' loop.

After some googling I found someone with a similar problem here:

[1.7.10] Dark Trilogy will not load... Any fix yet? | Feed the Beast

As suggested I tried switching out the Botania .jar file and it loaded! Problem is it now won't let me on the MYM server because of having a different mod file.

Owing what to the person said there, if there is indeed a Botana-related problem with AMD cards then maybe I'm stuffed for now.. although interestingly the card that just died was an AMD brand one too!

    Thanks for reading =)

The problem is we can't update it as it'll cause all other players to be unable to connect. I'm trying to find, but has there been an update of the TDT modpack recently that might encompass this?

    Thanks for the quick reply!

I understand the issue of not being able to change it.. the needs of the many outweight the needs of the few lol.

I don't think therehas been a modpack release with the new Botana yet. It might be a case of having to buy a newer GPU (not knowing whether it'll be compatible!) or wait until the new TDT modpack is released, whenever that is..

It is odd as you say since I use an AMD based graphics card. Looks like it's an issue with built in chips rather than cards themselves.

Hm well mine isn't built-in but is is an old one. Still, I don't see how this could cause an error in initialising a mod which has little to do with GFX! Maybe the guy in that link was talking poo.
