If you got the iron to spare, this is a nice powergeneration for T1. Not op but helps!

 

So what does it exactly do?

 

I see water (being split?) and O being stored. Is it a engine that uses H2 to make power?

 

Correct, it splits H2O ... o gets stored (or trashed) and you make a slight surplus on H which you can burn for power

 

Hmm, it would be nice to see this kind of system into a mod. 2H2O -> O2 +2H2 and then back. But instead of a power generator it's more of a "battery" (like in real life).
Anyone knows of such mod?

 

in fact something similiar can be achieved with minechem
