Description

As a man or woman stranded naked, freezing & starving on a mysterious island, you must hunt, harvest, craft items, grow crops, & build shelters to survive. Use skill and cunning to kill or tame & ride the Dinosaurs & primeval creatures roaming the land, & team up with hundreds of players or play locally!

Early Access

This game is in early access, and we are opening a server to test the expansion of other game servers. Please understand that there is a possibility of bugs to appear and will have to wait for the authors to update the game for them to be fixed. There are regular updates almost every day adding new content/fixes.

• Increased difficulty to 3
• Faster taming to 6
• Night time speed scale to 1.5
• Harvest Amount Multiplier increase to 5
• Xp Multiplier increase to 4
• The server is PvE With Tribe Wars for those that want to fight!

Rules

As this isn't Minecraft some of the rules are going to be different. Rules for the Ark server are listed below.

§ Playing together

• Insults, aggressive behaviour towards others as well as racism will not be tolerated.
• Try to remain friendly when talking to others.
• Moderators and Admins (and their opinions) are to be respected.
• Scamming and artificial inflation is frowned upon.

§ Chat

• Only english is allowed in the public chat
• Spaming in any kind of way is prohibited.
• Advertising, no matter what, is not allowed.

§ Server

• You will not get lost items back. When they’re gone, they`re gone.
• Abuseing bugs or exploits will be prosecuted.

I am totally bored with minecraft. So happy U opened ARK server, have not tried it yet, 2morro is the day ;-)

but it is a pvp server?
So if you want to break into someones house u could?
Would be a little bit boring without.

 

Needs to be PVP, plox.^^
Played it on a PVE server and its getting really boring after awhile.

it's PvPvE afaik, but you can choose PVP or not

 

thats like the definition on PVE server...
these games are not made for pve.

I think he means PvPvE as in you can kill players but not structures/tames animals, but I'm not sure since everyone seems to have a different definition when it comes to ARK

 

ok if a player is on a tamed animal. can you kill him? can you loot corpses?
could someone explain the rules to me?? ^^

I think @Ash00182 is the only person who knows for sure at the moment, probably still working everything out with them

 

As I'm at work I won't be able to explain till my next break which is in 1h 45m. Just create a list of what you want to know and I can explain. You can kill/destroy everything on the server atm.
