Implemented Endgame Titles

Why start a new modpack in the first place if you'll buy yourself til you reach endgame?

It defeats the complete purpose of survival and of the modpack you chose cause you aren't getting the experience, regardless on if you'd done it on another modpack. (Each modpack is different and how a mod is like in one could be COMPLETELY different on another, thus making some players miss all the fun and actions because they're more determined in getting the rank than to actually earn it. They are called achievements for a reason )

and im not saying buy my way to the endgame, i mean buy the things 4 the title

 

Why would that be if it gets done it would work as the same as on time ranks are you keep it forever

o ok, it wasnt specified if the title was a cross network gain.

 

That is kind of buying yourself to end game.. In some cases that would be a bit hard if it requires more than a regular crafting bench. Although, gathering the resources is part of the fun as well! I'm not in any way discouraging the use of the market(it has helped me several times).

 

it was already stated that a title is cross network. this put an end to the need to buy the things to get the title on another pack.

 

This isn't meant to change resource collection in anyway. I think the titles should be cross network.

 

I didn't read enough to see the part about a cross network title. I only responded to what he had said about buying items in one server to get the title in another.

How about theres a collection tab in /shop where you try to collect all the titles

 

well, mostly bragging rights, other than that, to prove to people that u r experienced and know what ur doing. i mainly want this because i have done massive things in thaumcraft and support the idea for havng a title for it

I want the title "Timewood Engineer"

 

I want the "dirt professional" title

 

"The Arcanist" is my custom title

 

Some of those requirements are a bit easy... just getting the Gaia ingot for instance is easy compared to beating the Gaia 2.0
Eldritch Eye is easy as compared to actually getting to the Eldritch dimension.
and so on

 

Gaia II is broken if you play your hand correctly, trust me
