Done Ferret Lag

Dont know if any of the staff have noticed but for the past 38 minutes the server has been below 10 tps with a all time high of 2.28 just wondering what the problem is (literally cant play it)

 

Just give up already now, the server needs hourly reboot to keep a steady tps. when ever we get past like an hour uptime the tps takes a dump. but people rather want 2 hours reboot cycles and major lag.

 

dude, you understand nothing? we told you why, now quit complaining, because do you perfer to just push the problem aside or to fix it?

 

Ps: I'm sorry to say but whenever I'm on, the only and laggiest AE system if yours and is (can't exacly remerber how much) pretty high. :/

 

its goes up to 12-15 when i autocraft HV solars yes, been quite some time now and my system have been optimized since, my system almost never show up at all.

Can you get a reboot pushed on.. its been on 2-3 tps the last half hour <.< and we are only like 4-5 on

 

I'm sorry but I couldn't even if I wanted to.
TPS issues are taken care of by Sr.Mods and server reboots etc... By admins.

 

If tps is low.. Make a ticket.. Response is faster 90% of the time and also seen directly by staff members faster as some don't get to look through ALL new posts..

 

As much as i love roasting the server he is right plus if bteam can be fixed ferret can for sure

 

Bteam had a MASS reset... You cannot compare the two.. Ferret is still in alpha and very temperamental when it comes to TPS.

 

Just one important thing to ask where in ireland are you from (im from dublin)

 

The server does NOT need hourly restarts, And busi you have already got a thread about it where it was decided not to. The server needs looking into why its lagging, So we can completely fix the cause. But if we are putting hourly restarts on it. Its just hiding the cause and Inconveniencing players play time with that.
Restarts don't fix everything. They just push it to one side. Then the issue will come back.

 

so lets do the maths

hourly restarts
3 min restarts time, 57 min play time
That gives around 22.8 hours real play time per day

2 hours restarts
3 min restart time, about 1 hour play time, 57 min can't do anything time due to 3-5 tps
that gives around 12 hours real play time per day

i put my money on hourly restarts since that is the better odds

 

Dude, you already had your post, we already listenned to your idea and we rejected it. Please stop trying to make us change our mind on other threads.
We already told you why it wasn't good on the forums and Inalso did personally in-game as you didn't seem to understand so please, accept what we chose and move on, we'll find out what causes the problem eventually, we have staff members (sr.mods) very competent in that that will surely handle it shortly but please, once more, stop repeating yourself and making us repeat ourselves on other threads.

Ps: let me remind you of rule °3:

Ok I take your maths and I give you facts, seeing as you don't listen.

• Hourly restarts will hide the reason for this lag
• The lag will eventually come within the hour if not fixed early on
• Tps can be caused by multiple things, one of which doesn't actually show as affecting the tps but shows noticeable block lag
• We have a ticket system and a support chat where you can report the lag and we can have someone come investigate while it is lagging instead of hiding the lag

Now that you have been presented with the facts please stop requesting for the server to be reduced to 1 hour restarts, it's not going to fix anything just going to make it worse.

Busi, yesterday it restarted and was down to just above 1 tps in under 5 minutes.
Lets just reboot it again?
