Is there still a reason why are those Rednet Cables banned ? I am asking bcs i made a program using CC and AE Interface to control how much items i ahve in AE and keep certain items in stock . I am using SFM to do the crafting and moving items from Interface to destinated blocks. And SFM is controled by redstone reciviers, which starts the crafting only if there is redstone signal. But since projectred transmision bundled cables are not suported i cant output desired signals for SFM. So i am asking if there is still a reason why rednet cables are banned. Bcs they are banned for a very looong time now. And also i am open to any help how to make that bundled cable of use or how to solve my problem. Thank you. Spoiler
Rednet cables cause chunk corruption which is why they're banned.. There was a section in time when they were being tested if they still cause issues. @BookerTheGeek Was supposed to test it.
Mine Factory Reloaded Rednet Cables are banned because they crash the server and they cause performance issues sorry . You can also do /banneditems in game to find out why any item is banned.
So did any1 tested id or it is just bcs it was doing that ? Or at least on what version it was doing that ?
When a pack/server updates the change logs are reviewed and the items that has been "fixed", according to the change logs, are tested and then unbanned accordingly.
Rednet cables are still causing crashes due to interactions with other cables, @Fousicek himself caused crashes with them recently. Edit: I apologize, I think the issue was Project R cables
Yeah, so i did remove the redprject cabels and tryed to use EnderIO.. Found out that SFM is not bale to interact propery with EnderIO redstone conduits and next thing is that CC has a bug where it is not able to turn of the desired color using colors.subtract command.. Now i am trying to lear Open Computer. Bcs they can interact with AE interace as well with redproject cabels. And those can itercat with SFM so . Yeah. Closing as this is solved. Thank you.
