Tekkit Legends Server Market.

First off this is not only my opinion but everyone that plays on this server I have talked to that plays regular on this server. The market cost money to post items and when sold it takes a cut also. The market on this server does not need a money sink. It takes all our money to post items for people and when they are sold the return is barely worth the trouble. Very few people post items. It is easier to just sell items in chat. If you cut the posting money out it would make it easier for people to post useful items. Allot of the new players ask for items in chat and people are just giving out tons of EMC and other items and it kills the eco of the server. Giving out endgame amounts of free emc and items cuts the amount of time people spend on the server. Burns them out quick and in the end hurts this packs population.

 

The market has a money sink to prevent the value of MYMs, it's required, trust me, it'll happen anyways, and players shouldn't really be giving out endgame items, generally items aren't ever given out, as their valued,

 

emc makes everything not have much of a value when your endgame and whenever someone asks for something you just give them 1 and no one ever makes you pay for just 1 item on there though as you dont make enough money for it to be worth it

 

And when you can EMC pretty much almost all the items i say the market is useless

 

I don't want to come off rude, but:
IC2 & BluePower, two of the major mods, aside from ProjectE, do not have any EMC values for their items. I had to setup ~70 Logistics Pipes auto-crafting tables to be able to craft items from these mods at request, and I have not even nearly done all the items from them.

Last I checked, there was a couple here and there, like rubber for instance

 

Yes, rubber, and copper, but there is no EMC value for the copper cables (rubber*3, copper*3, rubber*3), for example, meaning you need to setup autocrafting for that.

 

This is getting off point the market does get used and people do give out tons of stuff so charging for posting items still does not make sence.

 

Oh yeah xD Anyways getting a little sidetracked, but as this post was started for, the market is an issue. Since there is technicly no endgame item list yet,(even though one was made its not official yet) People are giving out stacks of Red Matter Willy Nilly
