On a vanilla minecraft server, 146 ping average on every server. Full bars in the internet. However, if I log in to any MYM or modpack oriented server I have extreme lag. (Not FPS) If there is a reason why this is happening, please let me know. I would like to solve this problem since it is blocking me from getting my daily dose of Ferret :(

Most likely, you are facing something like a memory leak. Ferret Business is a tough modpack to run, due to the resources it requires out of a computer. Could you possibly list me your specs?

I dont have a problem with the FPS, just the ping lag. Just pointing that out. And my specs are:[DOUBLEPOST=1447560191][/DOUBLEPOST]also you see when i go to the screen where i could choose the servers it says 210 ping on the top right side of the server[DOUBLEPOST=1447560279,1447559711][/DOUBLEPOST]however when i actually go into the server it feels like 4000 ping

While 210ms is not ideal, its not really noticeable in Minecraft.
We narrowed down its not your internet.

Now when your in the game an experianceing the MS lag, type /tps
With a pack as big as Ferret, sometime something bogs the server down.
In most cases a staff member will find the source.

I kinda got the same issue, however mine is related to when my base is starting to get more advanced. I basicly get renderissues when im at my base. Does this happend regardless? Like if you are logging in for the first time? Or after a while when you have made "alot of stuff"?

You said it was not your FPS... but
Press F3 and leave it open as you play. Tell me the percentage in the top right. You must leave it open for awhile to see what it peaks at

Well, that's just your memory, when loading your base's chunks. He seems to have a problem whenever goes on to any server's FB modpack.

I know on some modpacks it depends on how many people are on, what they have running and the pack itself. I know ferret has some serious block lag at times and everything else will seem to be okay.
