Could we have a clarification on what is considered "world gen"? Currently there are some different opinions on this :c

I'm not sure what you're referring to. What does the world gen have to do with endgame items?

In Regrowth, basically everything is considered "endgame" and thus not allowed to be traded/given away. The exceptions are, as Booker listed:
    • Any Vanilla Minecraft Item that are Vanilla world Gen. From the overworld only
      • This Does NOT include items from Villages.
      • Also not allowed are Dungeon/Stronghold/Village loot.
    • Drops from dead Grass
    • Drops from deadwood
I'd just want a clarification on what is considered "world gen" in this situation.

    § Economy
    • Refrain from overly high/low prices

    • Selling and sharing of endgame items is prohibited. (e.g. bedrock tools/armor, tome of sharing, genes/syringes)

Anything you would naturally find in a vanilla minecraft world. If it's been edited by a player, it's off limits.

Booker did an update on his endgame item list earlier today, which should eliminate hopefully all confusions. He especially lists a lot of world generated things now that are explicitly considered endgame.

As usual, if in doubt about one item, don't trade with it. Or better ask here, so that we can update the list to avoid confusions and be more specific.

I think what Minu is trying to ask...

Is for instance, if the mobs are considered "world gen" too. So could you trade ender pearls, gunpowder etc.
This is what he was asking in game anyways and I urged him to make his own topic.

Ah, now I understand what you're asking. From my understanding of Booker's update to the list, I would consider vanilla mob drops as acceptable to be traded/sold as they do not require any special crafting and can be found in any normal vanilla minecraft world.

Thanks, this was the difference in opinions. See, I don't consider mobs part of the world gen (or rather I only consider things that generate during world generation part of world gen) so I was slightly surprised when a certain mod asked for a drop after repeatedly hassling me about endgame stuff trading >:I

"a certain mod"... rofl... "hassling"... rofl... ;)

That was me, and I asked for an ender pearl, seeing as far as I always knew, vanilla mob drops are ok. (So no creeper hearts or Witches hands. It's about the drops, in overworld, not the mobs themselves.)

However, this is still a bit vague, seeing witches do not drop (for instance) redstone in Regrowth, but they do in vanilla. So are these allowed to be traded / are they not.

Well in this case, the witches were modded intentionally by the pack creator to fit the pack and not drop redstone. So I would consider redstone an item that should not be traded and instead obtained on your own.
