i was in the farm world when we had a server restart. when i was able to get back in my ender quarry, tesseract and 2 ender markers were missing. the only thing left was 2 ender markers. does this normally happen or is this a glitch. i have a pic of the area i was in where this happened to help.

It could've been a rollback. I can't do anything since I'm a newbie and not a staff. But someone might just reply in a few more minutes.

How long before the restart did you place these things?

well if it was a rollback id have the stuff in my inventory. checked and not there, if it was a full restart of the farm world which just happened the other day, it would have removed all the items that i placed.[DOUBLEPOST=1448595606][/DOUBLEPOST]still had 5 mins before the restart when they were placed

sometimes a bigger rollback happens because of certain issues, it is possible that a glitch makes your inventory update the wrong way, and in that case item refunds do not happen (item refunds don't ever happen, it's a server policy)
there is however a thread going on where you can discuss this refund policy, I will paste the link in a minute

Yhea, 5m before the rollback sounds like it'd get not saved, the saving plugin sucks with that timing

On server restart, the world is saved automatically. (Not counting crashes)
However, if Item A has been placed in the world, server crashes and there is a rollback, Item A will not be sent back to your inventory, because player-inventories are saved on every action, as well as every logout, which means that it cannot be sent back to your inventory, without a few scenarios where you would be able to duplicate items, along with an extremely bad tps spike on every player-login, as it would have to scan inventory with a backup, and then re-track placed items/blocks, delete them, and add to you inventory (quite resource-intensive, and extremely dumb thing to code)
    TL;DR
Inventory saves on actions; World saves on saves.

I am sorry, but as PippinSmith mentioned, we do have a strict Refund Policy. You can find the whole policy and why we have it here, and a discussion on if we should change it here.

Im not upset about roles. The way these things happened just didnt seem right so i was asking if there was anything that could be seen to what happened. But if no refunds can happen then ill take that.
