Done Thaumcraft research

I had asked through a ticket to get my research reset after I restarted my island, and a junior admin was able to do that, but while I got my research subjects restarted, my research points, and scanned objects were not. I've been scanning nodes already to make up for the low points I had and finished a few subjects, but I think it's something worth looking into.

 

Likely something tied to your player data I would assume.

 

Given that after a lengthy absense, my player data got deleted, I doubt it.

 

I don't..there has to be a file somewhere or else it wouldn't still show.

 

It IS tied to your player data, but it is not saved in it. It is saved in a <Your-name>.thaum & <Your-name>.thaumback in the same directory as your player data

 

Yeah sorry, it did occur to me when I did the reset using the in-game command that it wouldn't have reset your scanned object list as that was before my promotion when I didn't have access to the file matryoshika mentioned, if you want I can try to reset your scanned items when I get back from work in a couple of hours?

 

Yeah. Does it require me to be online or offline?
