After a long silence on my part (some people may not even know me any more lol) we the MyM Events team, have decided to let the players in on our plans for the future! So without further ado, I give you the plans. Following our recent Halloween event, the Staff of MyM have decided to open a new server for future events. This new server is Vanilla Minecraft Version:1.7.10 and has several worlds to choose from! In this new Events server, we will have: Monthly build contests! ( contest builds will be in a creative plots world) Monthly top minigames winners ( we have paintball, spleef and hunger games so far, and more may come depending on stability!) Monthly faction based contests ( there are two factions worlds one is Vanilla world generation while the other is City world generation.) There is also A Vanilla world without factions ( uses GriefPrevention) A full PvP, full raid, hardcore hoth survival world ( world of snow and ice) Following the requests of our players we have set up both factions based worlds and a full pvp/raid world, with these new worlds there will be new rules and even donation package changes for donors. With all these changes we ask that you please bare with us and report any issues or bugs you may find after its launch. The server should go live before the first of next month, but unexpected hiccups with plugins, and irl things going on, has slowed things a bit. Once the server is made live to the general public of players I will make another announcement (an actual announcement post ;p), until then I hope I gave you all enough info about whats going on to be excited for the release! ^_^ -RomaDaddy
The Plain Vanilla world has been scrapped due to plugin conflicts with the factions worlds. This opens up resource space for future development though, and currently things are going slower than expected on this project due to these snags that keep coming up. I am still trying to get it done before next month rolls around though^_^.
Things are still being finalized for stability, we were having issues with a few of our minigames but they have been removed for now. They may return at a later date after testing.
sadly I am no longer able to work on this project, though I leave it with the other staff to carry on and finish what remains.
