Hi there, user neotsukai here! So I've been inactive on IE1 for 20 days for personal reasons and got back online today hoping I'd still have a house, maybe an empty chest or two :/ It looks like the chunks that my claim were in have been reset to their original state and was wondering if a chunk reset was usual procedure for inactivity? If the revert was for lag-reasons then my bad, just wondering if this was standard stuff or not? Thanks to staff and users for keeping the community great though
it was automatic, i thought i said that there would be so many problems stemming from this @Slind didn't I?
I don't think it is a good idea to... It is probably easier to leave it to say jr.admin to reset claims like it used to be. And from playing it seems that the claim reset is not 100% workout anyways. I've had a base on RG that's I haven't been on in over two weeks and it is still there.
I agree, i do not think anything should be automatic. Even the Player.dat is annoying. There are times i take a few weeks off just because i get burnt out. But if i return and all my stuff is gone.... well i leave again. Only remove if the location is reported. And really is in the way of others.
Hey all, thanks for the support From what I can gather there's not much to be done about the contents of the claim, but I've still got my inventory Maybe have a look into what can be done about this in future? See ye all in there!
That never worked before. No matter what server I join there are at least 20 bases with chunk leak and the members offline for months.
@neotsukai You would be aware of this if you have read the rules under /rules. It clearly says when it gets reset. @Ash00182 Regrowth Node 1 doesn't have the chunk reset as only new servers have it. Also it would be a full time job to remove all the inactive claims/chunks for all servers.
