When I try joining, it kicks me saying , "You are not allowed to use ae2stuff. If you think you should be allowed, please request it on our forums." How do I fix this?
I assume you're using the FTB launcher? There was a patch released after the pack owner realized her mistake. I'm hoping we update our servers to fix this on our end as well, but until then. Go into your launcher, navigate to the modpack and along the top click "Edit modpack" Find AE2stuff on the list, and click disable. You should then be able to play normally
It's interesting you say that. I have been using the Curse launcher and have been using the updated 1.1.14 version of the pack since I think last Thursday when it was finally updated. AE2 Stuff has been in the pack since at least 1.1.8. I have already made all the blocks it brings to the game, and have used them for several months now. Monday when I logged in everything was fine. When I logged in yesterday and today, I get the same error message that Beckendwarf is getting. Though the game does appear to momentarily load my island before I get the error message. I downloaded the MYM Launcher and it seems to be working. However, I am concerned that AE2 Stuff seems to have been taken out or patched and we have had no record of it in either global or server changelog.
The issue is that Jaded released a version without Ae2Stuff in the pack, which we then implemented into the servers. Since it was implemented, ALL Ae2stuff items have been removed (last I checked) which means a loss of items for anyone that had them. She realized the mistake and released the new version WITH Ae2stuff later, but we have already implemented the version without it. If/when we update Ae2stuff will be re-added but until then, not much to be done. I'm sorry but I don't know how to use the curse launcher. Not sure if this works, but might try right clicking the pack in the curse launcher and finding the "open folder" button, then navigate to Mods, and find Ae2Stuff there, then move it somewhere else or delete it. -Easiest fix might be to backtrack to the older version, if that's an option.
We checked this last night, after someone reported it - Slind was still unable to get a version of AS2 with AE2Stuff. I'll check now, though, and we'll see if its been updated, and if it has, we'll go ahead and push it to the MyM Launcher and the server.[DOUBLEPOST=1449722239,1449717965][/DOUBLEPOST]OK, confirmed that AE2Stuff has been added back into the curse launcher client files....with no stupid change log to let anyone know T_T Once sirwill gets the mod pushed over to the MyM launcher, i'll go ahead and re-enabled it, and restart the server.[DOUBLEPOST=1449725236][/DOUBLEPOST]Alrighty - AgrarianSkies 2 is going down right now for a restart, to re-enable AE2Stuff.
