Good evening, Some time ago, I purchased the tier 4 donor rank. Although Vanilla+ is my primary server, I have spent quite a bit of time on the new Infinity Node 3 server and time on the direwolf20 server, where I am able to fly at this donation rank. Is it possible to add the same capability to tier 4 and above donors on the Vanilla+ servers? We would greatly appreciate this added feature since it is included with our tier on the other servers. i see nothing in the shop about flying, just kits that are all unavilable, claim blocks, chunk loader tickets and random items
In addition to flight not being offered in the shop, unlike other servers with heavier modpacks, we do not have alternative craftable modes of flight available to us. I would hope that since flight is offered to tier 4 and above donors on other MyM servers, that we could be given the same consideration on Vanilla+. Thank you for your continued consideration.
It isn't in /shop, you should just be able to do /fly as long as you can afford the "enabling cost" of 250myms to turn flight mode on, then every time you start flying (by double tapping space) it will charge you an additional 50mym. How fair that price system is IDK, i didn't set it up, if you think it should be changed then we can possibly look into that.
Thank you for your responses. Slind, I had not previously considered your explanation, but it does make sense. On the Infinity and direwolf20 servers, there are many methods of flight available to players; they just require varying degrees of complexity to obtain in the mid-game. Being able to fly there in the early-game without the resource cost is fair advantage for donating. On the Vanilla+ server, there are no methods of flight available, so being able to fly would give an imbalanced advantage to the donors. This would be an unfair advantage and likely would cause resentment among the players who had not donated. I understand your reasoning and will not press further. Thank you. chaosblad3, after flying on the Infinity server for several days, I returned to the Vanilla+ server and attempted the /fly command. I received an automated message stating that flight was not enabled on the server. The Flight Control plugin may have once been added to the Vanilla+ server, but it appears as if it either no longer works or has been removed. However, with such a high cost to use, this does not upset me. Thank you.
Thanks for bringing this issue to our attention. Chaosblad3 was correct in that this should have been working as noted - and has fixed it - so it should be working as the plugin intended. Everyone has the ability for flight on V+, provided they have the MyMs to support it, yet it remains free to use for Tier4+ donators. Please let us know if you encounter any additional issues.
