Done Voltage

So, I wondered how I could use my Medium Voltage/ High Voltage, solar panel to power my machines that blow up by those voltages. Is there anything I can send the power through to make my power Low Voltage? Plz help, my machines go so slow of my Low Voltage Solar Panels.

 

You would need to use a Hv transformer and a Lv transformer.

I assume this is IC2? If so there are tiers of cables that all have a maximum amount they can handle.

To convert to lower voltages you could use the transformers.

I'm also pretty sure IC2 has parallel and serie coded in.

 

So, if I had 1 Medium Voltage Solar Panel, I would need have how many low voltage transformers???

 

Just 1 as the input is under the 128 Eu/t limit if I'm reading the wiki correctly. You can always test it in single player if your worried about blowing up your machines.

hey, soooo. My friend buildt a generator. The one that uses yellorium... It blew up my MFSU when he plugged it in? WTF!?!?

 

What generator exactly? An MFSU can only handle 2048 EU/p

 

It uses yellorium. And its from the mod: Big Reactors. And it is a multiblock structure.

 

Big reactors are generators that produce an amount of power based in how it's layed out. Normally they produce Rf though.
If you do the output of the reactor times 4 then you should have the amount of EU generated.
