Implemented [B Team] Endangered coven witches

So this is my first post on this forum, and I encourage staff and peers to correct me if my argument is invalid.

Myself, like many others that play the B-Team server are likely late to the party, this is generally not too much of a worry until it comes to the Witchery mod. There are many amazing things that can happen through witchery, unless it comes to a rite or ritual that requires a coven of witches.

After a few days of searching and finding nothing but empty and looted witch circles and huts, it has become apparent to me that gaining a coven of witches is an unlikely feat for newer players such as myself due to earlier players either recruiting or killing the server's coven witches, only to later leave the server for good and taking up to 6 witches with them.

My suggestion is: Create alternate methods of finding or acquiring a coven witch so that newer players can have a more complete experience of the witchery mod. Coven witches have their own spawn eggs and so it seems that they could be acquired in a similar fashion to how Mr Crayfish's computer [Mr Crayfish's Furniture Mod] can provide mob spawn eggs to players. Another suggested method would be to create a new kit or similar 'Witchery Kit/Pack' that players could purchase from the shop/tier store.

I encourage everyone and anyone with a comment related to the topic to post here and give their further opinion/suggestions.

Coven witches respawn every once in awhile

 

Thank you for informing me, I am only speaking from my limited experience on the server and you could have possibly nullified my argument. I will still leave this thread open to see if a result may still arise from it

 

I WILL admit thought it's very rare, this is still a good argument due to that

 

There IS a witchery kit in the shop, I however was suggesting the addition of coven witches in the form of spawn eggs or similar methods

 

hm, the only eggs i see listed are the dragon egg blocks

 

hm, they do seem quite endgame, so not in reach of newer players. The price would vary depending if it was a standalone purchase or an addition to a kit

 

Is this going to be a shop purchase or acquired through ingame means?

i have a large number of tokens,since i vote everyday even if i don't play that day, so at that price i could buy 6 easy. maybe a way to create an egg that requires a fair number of witchery ingredients? so that only someone who is at the point to need a coven is able to have one?

 

maybe:

Top mid - Witch's hat
Mid mid - Dragon egg
Bottom mid - Witch's robes

= Coven witch spawn egg

OR (if you can edit config and create custom rituals)

The above recipe would produce a special custom egg (not usable) that would need to be used in a ritual with a witch, the special egg, and a seer stone.

(the seer stone is returned after the ritual)

 

ive only done a small bit of witchery, but maybe something with wool of bat and tongue of dog, some rotten flesh, and something fairly expensive like a diamond or emerald. id include an image if i knew where people go to make the recipe images
