With this mod your Thaumcraft Research will get a whole lot easier.

    Client-Side only Mod!
Should work for all languages now.

Just hold the Research you are about to do in your hand and hit the assigned "Solve Research Key" (Default: NUMPAD_ADD) and voila all the Paths needed to clear the Research will pop up on your screen.
It the key again and they disappear again.
It is as simple as that.
I mainly created it for the upcoming Thaumcraft 5 Research so it will always give you the cheapest/shortest way to get from one point to another.
In Thaumcraft 5 everything depends on how many primal aspects you use so it is optimized for that.
You may have to make 2 aspects again sometimes if the gap if greater than the given path.

    Commands:
    • /tchelper scale 1-64 Configure the scale of the aspects to satisfy your needs.
    • /tchelper top 1-400 Range from the top side of the Minecraft windows. If you have the minimap on the top side or anything else.
    • You can switch sides via config.
Be aware: This is an early version. I still try to add a few things,

    To come:
    • Hover over Aspect to see full path to create it.
    • Better Pathfinding which respect length of the gap between Aspects. For now it is just giving you the shortest path but the rest should be a piece of cake.
    • And I may make it look more pretty down the line. ;-)

Really big thanks to Azanor for creating the, in my opinion, best Minecraft mod out there!
Thanks to jgraph.org for providing an excellent opensource graph library I can use for the early versions.
And also thanks to gigaherz and diesieben07 on Forge IRC for finding bugs that did cost me hours...

I was running it on Civi earlier. It's for 1.7.10. Except that darn easy mode.

Its kinda finished. I developed it for 1.8.9 first and backported it to 1.7.0. So it is available for both versions.
The nice thing about it, you dont have to manually submit your aspects. Its reads them of the nbt data of the research note you are holding.
That said, it is 1.8.9 research optimized. It will always give you the shortest path with the least amount of primal aspects used. I tested it yesterday on civ, for me it was faster then the browser variant, because you save a lot of time not having to insert all the aspects.
I dont know if I update the 1.7.0 algorithm. If someone points me out to a good algorithm which saves the path on the way. I might do it.

Btw, I think I forgot to add the link xD
