Should we disable disarming?

    I feel that way untill you take soul bound into effect.

    If soul bound was removed then I would be much more inclined to disable disarming out of the box.

    For a Werewolf to be able to rend armor, he/she has to reach level 9 as werewolf. This is a feat by itself. Now we take in consideration, the ability to turn into WW is a ritual wich take quite a lot of Witchery resources (and mym if we count the full coven that it needs). It's unlikely that a new player, within a few hours should be able to fight someone with full set of armor.

    Now we have the fact that a WW cannot wear armor nor Weapons, so the regen and the rend armor ability are the thing that patch this up. And we have to also take in consideration that Witchery balances the WW with the Vampire.

    Tactics. Every mod has them.

    If it's possible i think we should be able to disarm someone's weapon but not their armor, at most move the armor to the guys inventory. that way if it is soulbound they won't lose it and can protect themselves when they respawn or if it isn't soulbound it goes to the winner of the fight

    There is a misunderstanding, you went in my partys base knowing to well i can do this yet you went in and expected that you canot lose anything. It also took me some time for my transformation.

    There are ways to protect yourself from all mod mechanics. You yust need to adapt like @MoltairTremox did when he fought me without armour and he still won.

    Show me how to make disarm place armour in the inventory instead of on the ground, even when the inventory is full, and I'll do it right now.

    Otherwise please keep suggestions to what is feasible. :)

    Ill say keep the disarming feature

    This does't apply to everyone but... i am one of those players who likes to play peacefully but i attack when someone provoke. i love being a werewolf and ill use every feature it has to my advantage

    my problem with this is how come magic mods are always fine people moan about tinkers and it "one shotting people" but its considered fine to disarm and rob a players armor and items me personaly no tech and magic mods should be the same not one be op the other under powed whitch is where this type of thing is heading

    This is kind of what I feel. Or you're peacefully in your base, and some guy comes and disarms you and you're scrambling to get away or find your weapon before you die.

    @BookerTheGeek Totally understand that Witchery is hard to configure but the complaints about it, are bothersome. Most of the complaints concerning the power of Witchery in PvP are people who don't use Witchery. Witchery is a MASSIVE mod that we started, mainly ferret at the near start of the server. Ferret has infested over a hundred hours?? We are yet to get spirits due to the spawn rate, but the PvP items people like us have made are in need question to be disabled because people don't have it, so it's "unfair". This mindset is limiting and "unfair" to Endgame Witchery users. Let uscrusade against Botania, I can get relics that give me hearts, op nerf plux.

    I find it interesting how the PvPers submit these "issues" as soon as they die or lose items to them, but have no issues using overpowered TIc items then once again moan if they die to them. I find this mindset hypocritical and childish, and not constructive.

    I also applaud, both Krhymezs and Bookers community mindset. I must caution most will only agree to things that aid them, not the overall community. I will freely admit to this, myself. While public polls are great I ask you to be careful and make decisions that will help the community as a whole, not just a select base even if this requires disregarding polls.

    so you think that because you do witchry you should be able to make someone defenceless @Arcanuo cause i disagree[DOUBLEPOST=1453849295][/DOUBLEPOST]and tbh your the one being hypocritical as you are talking about a over powered part of witchry and saying it is fine and then saying that because tic has something overpowered its bad so whos the hypocritit really?

    soo a player that has 10 heart canister red and yellow , botania relics plus Odin rings that gives additional hearts and let say he has werewolf status that makes that player have a overall 4 layers of health would that be considered op

    While I am having issues reading your sporadically worded sentences that are also run on, I shall try my best.

    I believe you are reading what you want to see and that's the issue here. I did not state in my post Tic bows are bad. I said PvPers use them because they one shot, then complain when they die to a crossbow or disarming. Please fully read and attempt to understand what I am saying before responding.     no im just saying i agree tic can be overpowerd but you think that witchry should be able to make another player defenceless?

    Witchery requires the Mystic Branch. That requires an infusion, which is a very costly rite. It then requires the actual creation of the branch and high altar power. Your tic bow? 3-4 hours? Witchery? 35+

    we should disable disarming spell because people dont want to lose their armor or soulbound gear or tinker tools.
    i spent 4 solid hours making my power armor and the power fist and i would hate to lose that without even being killed. so many tessaract frames went into that armor btw

    Disarming should be disabled. Higher tier players should be able to combat other higher tier players. Beginners should have to work to be able to face them.

    which i understand but talking all somones armor off is not fair to the people have focused on other mods like thaumcraft and tech mods because everything you have made is useless
