does updating the server to 1.1.2 do anything? i cant find a changelog for that.
i dont think removing ic2 is so easy... there are many mods related to it. but id prefer lagless play over ic2 for sure.
i fixed my issue by installing java 8 update 11 and uninstalling java 8 update 20. i hope this helps anyone else who run into the same issue :)
