Hello. I just read in the ftb-forum, that with 0.80 of regrowth mekanism will be updated to mekanism 8, which will be incompatible with the current mekanism (so to not make the world go corrupt you pretty much have to delete everything from mekanism first). Now I'm wondering how the new version will be handled here in this problem, if there are already any plans for that? Since my whole power-system (included the energy-pipes) is based on mekanism I wonder if I should prepare for that case (like emptying my ae system) or if the possibility exists of a world-reset where all preparations would be futile anyways and I just would have to "wait for what's coming". Or if mekanism will be downgraded for the server so it stays like it is now. Sorry if all that is a bit "too early to ask" but I'm really curious about it. (not that I wouldn't like the new mekanism, since it brings so many nice upgrades!, but I really wonder if I should start getting prepared for the worst)
If it will crash the server if a old machine get loaded then probably a worldreset as we can't remove all the machines.

Are there any plans yet for "When" a possible update to the new version might happen? At the moment it's kinda weird not knowing if anything done at the moment won't be deleted soon anyways, if the worst case of world-reset happens. ^^"
There had been hundreds of updates in the history of MyM and maybe 1 or 2 resets due to it. So I would say it is quite unlikely, but to give a more precise information I don't know enough about the update. Intentionally there will be no reset and we always do our best that non is required.
