Implemented 1.7.10- Extra Utilities Soul Drain

Any chance the server can change the following in the
ExtraUtilities.cfg

B:soulDrainResetsOnDeath=false

Set that to true.

What this is is when you craft a Soul fragment, It takes one of our hearts and you cant get it back.....ever. Unless this is set to true, then on death you get your heart back.
IMO this is one of the worst features in the mod.. This can save future headaches from players

 

have you ever realized that most people won't ever make a soul fragment?

 

once they realize what they are.... they will.

 

it's literaly used for only 1 thing...

 

yes, a watercan you can use in an Automatons activator and turtles or any other Fake player.

yes. But you still lose your base hearts. This feature is horrible.
its best to just set it to get your hearts back on death.[DOUBLEPOST=1417393574,1417393291][/DOUBLEPOST]What mean by it removes a Heart. is it removes one from the bottom of your screen. all the way to where you only have 3 hearts left.
With no way to get these back....

 

you think i don't know this? dude just ban soul crafting, it's the absolute worst recipie for something so EZ to get with other mods

 

soul crafting is Extra Utilites only, you need the sword in your own 2x2 crafting grid.
Its no harder then having only Extra utilities installed

this can, can go in fake players.
I know Blood magic green grove...ect
But this thing is amazing

 

you can automate lots of others, heck you can even automate vanilla bonemeal, try grove ritual, sprinkeler, fert dirt, fert lilypads, and more!

 

granted you can use these but it still doesnt count for you Lossing a heart for crafting a Soul.
Your just making my request seem more reasonable since none of those other items takes a heart from your permanently

 

I would leave it as it is (So you never get it back.) It is designed that way by the mod author, and adds balance to the mod.

 

I personally think it would be very nice to have but I see the point of balance. Regardless, I feel that on servers where its not hardcore, pvp, or any type of survival challenge it wouldn't be a problem since the only thing you are fighting is mobs anyway.

 

I would say keep it as is. It makes the recipie a bit more expensive as you cant make infinity of them since you loose hp everytime you make on you can only make 9 of them.

 

actually it takes away 10% of your hp until you have 3 hearts, you're basically in bat mode

Not to forget that after 3 hearts down you only get weakened soul shards which won't work for the watering can.
They should add a recipe for weak soulshard to "get your heart back" soulshard because they're literally useless and you're a perm heart down
