Hello everyone! I was in Infinity Normal's spawn recently and was kinda poking around looking at the job you guys did (albeit from a long time ago) and noticed that there were some bits around spawn that seemed well... unfinished :/ Random blocks placed that had no business there (yeah I see you dirt block under the bridge) unused space like the tower etc. I like building I suppose and have passable skills so some parts of the build to me seemed like it needed to be updated... Perhaps a touch up for spawn is in order? Maybe there should be a way you can just run out into the world like a path or a highway that takes you to the edge of the admin protected lands instead of solely the rtp pressure plates.... Maybe we should make a grand city that reflects how many players have come through our server and gives a more accurate representation for what Infinity Evolved is really about as a modpack. I liked IN6's spawn quite a bit... it was able to accurately display most of what Infinity Evolved was all about... for IN's spawn however, there's like one little spot of Botania junk in the attic... There's so much more to the modpack than that (as much as I hate to say it) Draconic Evolution is arguably the most popular mod on this pack yet has no representation in spawn :/ But maybe I'm going off on a tangent I don't know... Was just wanting to throw this out there with the fact that I'm always available if you guys need any building help Thanks for listening guys, Delta91198
While all your suggestions are admirable, spawns take quite a bit of time to setup, and when we get to the point we're building a spawn there is intense pressure to finish it up and roll out the server, so sometimes elements are not as beautiful or well represented as they could be. The builders also generally have to wait for the administrator to finish their end of the server before they can beautify things as no one wants to try and work while the worlds are pre-generating. After a server is released the spawn is all administrative protected so most of our staff would have no ability to add or spruce up the area as their permissions do not allow for it.
