So in Thaumcraft you need more and more capacity in your wand and after some time you need a better wand core and not just wand caps. So the second tier is greatwood, but greatwood and silverwood is impossible to make. I looked it up and you can't get it in skyfactory (nor silverwood). I also looked up the other wands like blaze rods and stuff, but you need an infusion altar which requires a greatwood wand to make. So my suggestion is to add greatwood saplings and silverwood saplings to the market. These have to be expensive though. (only suggestions) I would say maybe 250-300 MyM's for greatwood saplings and 500-600 MyM's for silverwood. Another solution is to sell the wood which can be cheaper. (again only suggestions) maybe 10-25 MyM's for greatwood wood and 20-50 MyM's for silverwood logs.
Okay so after further investigation it looks like you can get them from the thaumcraft bags, but at a very rare spawn rate. Still these bags are rare too.
Okay, it's not loading up for me, but isn't there a mod-added page thaumcraft for making the runic matrix for less vis, as well as for the saplings?
Alright, managed to get it started up, and asked the people in the server. They mentioned that Sky Factory does, in fact, have an Astris page. Check that out, man, that's how you make the runic matrix, greatwoods, and silverwoods.
