adding a trade sign that allows you to buy the spawn eggs for the elderitch bosses

so after some looking i found that thaumcraft actually has spawn eggs for the elderitch bosses called:
spawn crimson portal
spawn praetor %s the %s
spawn %s eldritch construct
spawn %s the %s
these could all be used to gain primordial pearls and i was thinking that they could be traded for something along the lines of 4 eldritch eyes and 4 void metal ingots
btw the %s mean a randomized part of its name

 

it's possible to get infinite primordial pearls legit

 

how so?

 

Trust me you won't get any information out of him only a few players (including me but won't tell) know how to get infinite pearls and chugga would decapitate anyone who tell the secrets to others

 

I know one way for certain, and half-remember another way to get infinite pearls, Im not going to share either though

 

i feel that even if there is a way to get infinite that an adition of the spawn eggs should still be a thing because all it removes is the need to search the dungeon still retaining the difficulty of actually killing the things which seems to be the main problem with crafting recipes in my opinion. also the pearls are suppose to be obtainable through killing the bosses but unless you by some miracle find an untouched portal in the overworld its basically impossible

 

Don't they spawn in the farmworld too? They're SUPPOSED to be rare and most of the difficulty in killing the bosses is the exploring of the outer lands dungeon and finding out how to open the door (there are things in there you're supposed to scan too) Compared to all that the bosses are the easiest part.

 

they do spawn in the farmworld but if you open one in the farmworld it just takes you to the void

 

Not on any of the server's I've played thaumcraft on, have you reported this issue to staff?

 

there disabled on most farm world's as it caused issues with dungeons not spawning.

 

I would tell you how to get infinite primordial pearls but for the threat of decapitation above. You see, I do use my head sometimes.[DOUBLEPOST=1466257738,1466257171][/DOUBLEPOST]Think I can still teach you a trick to spawn the boss, go to a obelisk or the totem poles for an eerie biome, then drink a potion of crimson shade from botania. You will have to move 24 blocks back from the biome center and may have to wait for some time. The trick to get infinite pearls is getting close to the boss without dying (iirc one of the bosses can one hit a player in draconic armor, suggest making full KAMI armor for premium magical protection.)

 

Aaaaaaaand decapitated

 

Now I can join the headless hunt for the next Halloween. Nice!

 

Well if this does come to pass they aint gonna be cheap, id expect at least 1000 mym's each

 

Please can we implement something like this on crundeecraft also? there are next to no obelisks intact i'd happily pay 1k myms for pearls lol

Ok, i'll tell one way to get infinite pearls: rare treasure bags, semi-common drop

 

Thats my method too, but its now a player-only drop so no automating it
