I have few questions about crafting. Would be better to use RFTools Crafters with Interface insted of Assemblers? It is better to use one Interface to be a point from which i take special resources for export or rather use export busses ? Is it better to use Fluid Assemblers or rather to use the fluid transposer ? Is it better to make more crafting steps or to have it on export busses to the machine which is filling the machine with the inteface on it ? Also how is it with the Storage drawers and Storage bus combo ? I would like to use it bcs then i dont have to make reciies for nuggets and blocks on some resources and i dont have to thing about overflow because i can use void upgrade. Any other good tips for AE2 to reduce lag ? (and yes ive red the AE2 tutorial on mym.li/docs) Thats why i have crafting system, Long term storage system without crafting and system for p2p tunnels.
What do you want to reduce? Server lag or FPS lag? RFTools crafters are an extreme crafting option that i strongly recomend before assemblers. They are faster and can use more recipes. I prefer using interfaces to export certain items: You dont need to upgrade them with speed upgrades. Never have I used my ME for fluids, I always came up with something to avoid fluid storage and fluid crafting. Make more crafting steps so your ME wont need to scan containters, thus reducing pasive lag. Active server lag may increase tho. Combining storage drawers with your me seems a good idea. Never tested it but my thought about it is that it might not works since your me scans for how many items are in it and not how many it can make thus shuld not work with autocrafting. Might be wrong here. This is my alpha ME base on the first infinity server we got here on mym. I made many similar new designs but they all have the same concept of being in one chunk and having almost ewerything craftable. Most of my ME designs make almost none pasive server lag, but when they are crafting they may make alot of active lag so i would realy recomend using RFTools crafters to reduce that.
But those assemblers i ment used them togehter with interface. RFtools Crafters can make only 8 recipies while interface has slots for 9 or 10 i think. But i will use the RFtools Crafters. If someone else have some good ideas how to reduce lag on server i would be happy to hear them.
