How come the mobs don't render in until you're like right next to or in the vicinity of them, same with players. It is very easy to lose people when following them Ex. when a lag spike occurs and that player has traveled a few blocks it is very hard to navigate where they went because they disappear on both mini map and vision in game. Is there a way to fix this? Because I don't remember encountering this on AG2. tl;dr Render Distance is too short on AG1. Thanks - Akantor112
When I measure the distance from my mob farm and I start go away from it the mobs disappear around 30 blocks on the mini map.
I'm sorry but I couldn't figure out more. The view distance is set to 5 chunks and the entities tick less often when far away (+24 blocks) this helps to reduce the load from them. So they don't do path checking every tick if no player is near them. But this shouldn't cause them to not load visually.
