An idea to help with name changing messing up data

    So now that mojang has added name ive been thinking about changing mine but i have heard that it can cause some player data issues so i was wondering if we can get monthly nick changes instead so we can still change our names without losing progression?

    well because mojang allows you to change your name monthly i was wondering if there was a way that you could make it so we are allowed to use the /nick command monthly
