Heya, after the lucid incident, an idea came to my mind. So here's the deal, for any staff member account, if you log on from a different ip than the one you usually have you cant do any commands that could let you grief(ie: op/creative/worldedit/tp/anything that normal players dont have acces too really) untill you authentify on the forum or something like that. also when you log on, all the things like op/creative should automatically toggle off if they where left on if you feel like this isnt the right thing to do,or that its not doable, feel free to say what you would do instead
everytime you move youd have this issue say if you took your laptop to your nans and were staff youd have this issue
Great idea. I thought about something similar, kinda the same just that won't let you join until you authenticate the ip address via. click on a link sent by email on try. But with one incident of this type in 4 years, it's too early. Overall the implementation of such a system is more work than fixing the damage took.
Youve had 2 incidents recently, if i recall?[DOUBLEPOST=1465987264][/DOUBLEPOST]Although the last was larger than the first
KeePass Password Safe exists, and i use a highly secure password to use it, so it's hard to break the encryption on the database for the keys
