Since AS3 started today and the plan is to add additional quests to the book because of added mods i want to contribute my ideas. (I hope this is the right forum, else pls move it) Pls note these are just ideas about possible quests and the rewards. Feel free to comment and contribute to this. IC2 is quite a big mod which has been added. In my opinion it should get a own questline which is independent of the others. Unlocks after the smeltery quest cause u need a lot of materials to start ic2. Even if it might be too early to go for ic2 at this point. Quest - Crafting/Consume - Reward (lots of dots mean i have no idea yet what a possible useful and not overpowered reward would be) 1. IC2 Start: Crafting of Forge Hammer and Cutter - Basic Bag + Rubber Sapling (IC2) 2. Basic IC2 Power: Crafting Generator, Copper Cable and BatBox - 2 Basic Circuits and 2 Machine Box, Wrench, Additional Choice of Basic reward bags. 3. HammerTime!: Crafting Metal Former - ... 4. Need to go green: Water Mill, Solar Gen and Windturbine Crafting (Maybe COnsume) - .... 5. Power lover: Consume 1 Tin, 1 Copper, 1 Gold, 1 HV and 1 Glassfibre Cable - 1 MFE (Mabye MFSU) additional reward bags. .... Nuclear SubQuestline: 1. Always Protected: Craft Hazmat Suit - 4 Heat vents - 4 Heat exchanger, additional reward bad (or vice versa with choice) 2. Nuclear Power: Craft Nuclear Reactor - Reward 24 Uranium ore, add choice reward or 1 mfe 3. Nuclear Meltdown: COnsume 64 Quad URanium cell, reward bag epic (maybe legend) + 1 MFSU UU SubQuestline 1. Scrap for all: Craft Recycler - Reward 1 Reward bag, Additional Choice between 1 overclocker or 1 transforrmer upgrade 2. Scrap Usage: Craft Mass Fab - .... 3. Purple Shower: Consume 64 Buckets of Liquid UU - Epic or Legendary bag Ideas for other quests: Something with nano armor Something with all the electric tools/drills
For the Nanosuit, perhaps: It's Not Really That Small - Consume 10 carbon plates and 2 energy crystals, rewards a set of nano armour and possibly an epic reward bag? And if people want Quantum Armour: Tiny Mechanism - Craft A Mass Fabricator, Recycler, Scanner, Pattern Storage and Replicator. Rewards 1 iridium ore, a full heart and a legendary bag. I have already wrote out all the quests for IC2, and implemented them into the quest book. We're working on the new magic mods (AM2, Thaumic Tinkerer) And actually, we're pretty close to being done with the quest lines. This thread was useful in some, if not most of the quests that were added. Give it a few more days, and there will probably be a ton of new tabs in your questbook next time it is opened
